@flowbish, I saw the mumblecore style you and @lilfunkman have created and I immediately thought of those crayon melt projects. So I decided to try to do Candy Floss in a crayon melt!
Aaaaaaaaa, this is so amazing! Melted crayons are 100% pure mumblecore.
Side note, there is a really cool paint medium like this called encaustic painting. It’s essentially painting with pigmented beeswax, heat-resistant brushes, and a fucking blowtorch. Since the wax hardens when it cools, you can get some really sick textures and blending with it. I’ve always been enamored with this sort of stuff, it’s pretty awesome (just like your painting)!
